Hi, I’m Angela! And I am a camp counsellor at the Super Athletes Ontario for the summer of 2025. I’m 17 and heading into my senior year at Meadowvale Secondary School. I love being active and play sports with my friends especially tennis, badminton, and frisbee.I’m passionate about being a positive role model for the kids and helping them build confidence in themselves, and try out different sports that spark their interests. I love being part of Super Athlete Ontario and looking forward to making many amazing memories.
Tino Chikukwa

Hi, I’m Tino Chikukwa, an Accounting(commerce) Student at York University with a strong desire for building physically active communities, healthy people, and increased knowledge in sports or physical activities. I grew up playing sports for a good portion of my life, especially being active in sports such as Volleyball, Basketball, and Soccer, which ultimately resulted in creating my love for physical activity in general, and now I want to share that love with others. I am currently a camp coordinator at Super Athletes Ontario, and my duty is to create, manage, and run fun physical activities for the children participating in the camp and also attend to their needs when necessary. My goal is to create a fun and memorable summer for the children involved in the camp this summer.

Hi, my name is Shamara, and I am a 2025 university graduate with a strong passion for safe, accessible, and inclusive sport for all. Having completed many co-op placements and earning my bachelor’s degree in Recreation and Sport Business and a minor in Event Management from the University of Waterloo, I have developed the skills and knowledge necessary to make this one of the best summers ever! I played rugby for two years, am a big hockey, baseball, Formula 1, and IndyCar fan, and am always excited to chat about your favourite sport or activity. I look forward to having fun and making great memories with everyone this summer!

Hi, I’m Jolyn Thevasagayam, a Business student at Wilfrid Laurier University with a strong passion for health, wellness, and promoting active living. I’ve played soccer since I was six, which sparked my lifelong love for sports and fitness culture. In my current role as a Marketing and Fundraising Intern, I focus on applying for grants and funding opportunities to support our non-profit work, while also creating marketing materials to strengthen outreach and community engagement.

Marketing and Digital Media Coordinator
Hi, I’m Edward Wang, a Political Science student at Western University with a strong interest in community building, social impact, and strategic communication. I currently serve as a Marketing Intern at Super Athletes Ontario, where I help lead outreach initiatives, design promotional materials, and support digital campaigns that promote affordable, inclusive athletic programs for kids. My goal is to use marketing as a tool to connect people and drive meaningful change in the community.

Hi, my name is Tino and I am a day camp counsellor at the summer camp of Super Athletes Ontario for the summer of 2024. I am a 21 year old university student attending York university with a major in Accounting, and currently going into my third year. I am also super excited to be a part of this camp. As I have the opportunity to work, play and communicate with children which is something I love to do. I hope that me and everyone involved in this camp can have a good time and just in general enjoy themselves. Let’s go have some fun everyone, and make this summer one to remember.

Hi I’m Sinit, I am 17 and just recently graduated. I will be going to George Brown College in the fall for Social Service Worker program. I am looking forward to working in this camp. I’ve always liked working with kids and helping them around no matter what the situation is. I am excited to start learning about everyone involved in the camp and overall can’t wait to be able to help around. I hope to become someone that’s funny and supportive for anyone that joins the camp. I am very excited to see what this summer will bring 💕.
